Kitchen Table Chats or "Chats" are a safe space for discussing, listening, and learning about community related issues that are important to residents. Past topics have included updates on construction, Belle Haven Visioning and the Mini-grant, commissioner interviews, Housing Element, Environmental Justice Element and more.  

Chats are scheduled for an hour, but the in-person Chats tend to last longer. We try to limit each Chat to 3 topics and announcements. Some topics are informational and do not generate questions. Other topics are "hot" items that require many additional questions and lots of discuss. Participants often share their experiences to the group.  As residents learn about one part of local government, often additional questions will be asked. We may not have the information, but we will do our best to find the answer.
